The TOYLAND MINIATURE HORSE FARM was established in 1980 when we decided to make a change from Black Arabians to Miniature Horses. We went into Miniatures with 20 years of Show, breeding and Genetic experience in Arabians, Appaloosas and Paints. The Miniatures gave us the satisfaction of being able to enjoy having all the colors and breed for the refined type we liked.
We breed for Beauty, Refinement and Show Quality. Since we especially like color, we've bred for Loud Appaloosas with good blankets or Leopard spots, and Pintos, including the flashy OVERO and Tovero Pinto patterns which are highly sought after by todays breeders.
Our Stallions are Genetically bred to intensify Color patterns. Our Toyland foals carry the BLACK Gene, which gives them the ability to produce BLACK spotted Appaloosa patterns or Black and white Pinto foals which are so popular. Having the Black Gene assures a higher percentage of intense "base colors" such as Black, Bay and Chestnut which are highly desirable in a "COLOR" breeding program.
Our TOYLAND line has been developed over many years, to breed true for the special traits we have bred into our Miniatures. In doing this, we've set strong Genetic tendencies to PRODUCE what they ARE, and they ARE beautiful! Our foals carry the same quality and color patterns inherited from their parents, which thye will pass on to their offspring. We've created several Generations in our TOYLAND line, with detailed pedigrees and Genetic guides to use in your own breeding program.
We have the largest herd of PURE FALABELLAS in the USA, all of the finest quality
within the Falabella Breed. We have ALL COLORS, Including Colorful
Appaloosa and Fancy Pintos. We have Solid colors, with or without
a variety of white markings. A good selection of quality foals
are available each year. We also
offer a select adult Falabella's from our breeding herd.
Our TOYLAND pure Falabellas are registered in AMHA, AMHR and the FALABELLA MINIATURE HORSE ASSOCIATION. (FMHA) The FMHA is one of the FIRST Miniature Breed Registries in the World, with the first Argentine Imported Falabella's being registered in 1973. Over the many years of breeding, we've developed several Generations of our own fine quality TOYLAND FALABELLAS, all tracing their heritage back to IMPORTED FALABELLA ancestry. Recently, FMHA has added The Falabella Blend Registry (FBR), FBR accepts Miniatures with Falabella in the background. The Falabella Blend Miniature is becoming VERY popular. With ZODIAC, we aquired his Dam and a group of lovely Falabella Mares to start our exciting venture. Over the years, Zodiac has produced many loud Colored Appaloosa foals that were beautiful to look at and wanted by all who saw them. Zodiac has proven himself to be a most prolific and valued sire. He is the foundation behind many of our Best and most Colorful.

stallion in the USA, and in many parts of the World. He is the
sire and grandsire of more
FALABELLA bred show winners "Over the World," than many
other "FALABELLA" stallions.
Over the years, we've added other Imported Falabellas and other FMHA Falabella's to our herd, always selecting the best to compliment our own Toyland lines. The results have been excellent. Today, our TOYLAND Falabellas are in many parts of the USA and Over the World.
